Hello

We are Bailey, Ryan, Maeve & Jack. We are a little family who reside in the Ottawa area & we started Bleeks & Bergamot as our first full time business together as a married couple, after creating our own wedding dreams at our Homestead property in 2020

During the planning process of our wedding we both discovered we have a real passion for event planning and transforming forgotten spaces into magical places. Our shared love for interior and exterior design and DIYing helped us to expand beyond our Homestead property to building the new Riverside property in 2024-2025.  This space is now open and after a successful inaugural year in 2025, we simply can't wait for our first full season here in 2026.

Ryan is a part time electrician, part time handyman, part time farmer, full time fixer, full time daddy, golf enthusiast,  and venue owner.

​

Bailey is flower farmer, an avid gardener, a bit of a clean freak, a part time bookkeeper, avid traveler, a design enthusiast, an architecture  fanatic, and now venue owner. 

 

Our passion for our work is what makes each day so wonderful as we truly love what we do!  When not working on the business, we enjoy relaxed mornings at home as a family of four, busy extended family dinners with our parents, siblings and our nieces and nephews. Ryan can be found on a golf course whenever time and weather allows, and Bailey would prefer hitting the gym for a cross fit or HIIT style workout followed by scouring Home Sense for the next necessary - or unnecessary - piece. 

 

Beyond Bleeks, we both manage and operate our small scale farm just down the street, Four B Farms. Our farm provides local households, restaurants, and shops organically grown cut flowers, pastured beef,  free range eggs, turkey, and chicken 8 months of the year. Over the past number of years since starting B & B we have really gotten into growing wedding and event florals for our own designs, which we find especially fun and enjoyable!

 

When it comes to Ryan, there really seems to not be a project or challenge out there that he can't successfully and humbly tackle. His meticulous nature and true kindness shines through in everything he does and to everyone he meets. From moving tables, fixing furniture, building repairs, wiring an entire structure, to something smaller like hanging a light fixture, everything he does with pride and precision -and that's why he is truly such a valuable asset for our clients! Bailey on the other hand will be the face you see at your venue tour, showing you the spaces, answering your questions, and remaining available throughout your planning process. She is the face you will see alongside our wonderful team members at Open Door Nights, further planning meetings, and on your special day. Her favourite things to do with weddings are the reception setup and decorating, floral design, seeing the bride and her girls glamming and getting ready in the bridal suite, and helping in managing the logistics of your day from ceremony through the end of the night. ​

We are so blessed to have a wonderful team of ladies and gents that work alongside us, helping with everything from administravtive duties, pulling weeds, cleaning, coordinating couples events, assisting with floral design, bartending, bussing, setting tables and decor and SO MUCH MORE! Our daughter Maeve and our son Jack are the newest members of the Bleeks fam. You might see them around on an open-door event night in season, some venue tours here and there, or during the mornings on wedding days as we juggle the busy family-work balance. Maeve was born just two weeks before the wedding season began for us again in 2023, and is already a vital member of our team, brightening up everyone's day with her adorable little smile, endless energy & countless words of wisdom haha.  Jack was born in March of 2025 and is the other light of our lives. He's full of energy and smiles, and is often in tow as we complete various projects around the event spaces during the week.
